Kevin-Prince Boateng wants a permanent deal

Ghana midfielder midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng wants a long-term stay at the Italian giants AC Milan after recently returning to the Serie A side.

Boateng was virtually sacked by German club Schalke after clashing with club officials who were keen on flogging the Ghanaian.

Schalke did not reveal their reason for freezing the Ghanaian but wanted him out of the wage bill and allowed the Boateng to join AC Milan last month for free despite having one year left on his contract with the German side.

The Ghanaian says he wants to spend along time with the Italian side.

“I hope to always bring something to the team, also in terms of character. I am always positive and try to let everyone realise we must step on to the field with joy.

“That's what happened with Inter and my speech fired up the team. We are all on the same page, we think the same way, which is why we play well and win.

“I'd like to stay at Milan for as long as possible. I want to prove that I am important to this team."
