Ailing Accra Hearts of Oak coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi says he will be on the club's bench for the 'important' top-of-the-table Ghana Premier League fixture clash with Wa All Stars.

The Japanese manager has been struggling with illness and was not on the bench when they defeated Wassaman FC in their MTN FA Cup over the weekend.

The Accra-based giants are seeking to extend their lead at the top of the table and insists the clash with the second-placed team is vital to their overall ambitions.

“This match is very important and I think both the players and coaches know, supporters know it is going to be a good match and a good test for us if we can take this opportunity,” Kenichi said.

“Right now, I am feeling much better and as you can see, I am back on the pitch. I will make sure I will be there for this match against Wa All Stars,” he added.

Hearts are top of the Ghanaian top-flight with 13 points after five matches.
