Kenichi Yatsuhashi to be fired, if....

Hearts of Oak’s board member Dr. Nyahoe Tamakloe says newly appointed coach of the club Kenichi Yatsuhashi will face the sack if he fails to lead the side to Premier League success next season.

The Japanese trainer is set to sign a two-year contract to become the substantive coach of the Phobians.

Yatsuhashi was unanimously endorsed by the club’s board for the appointment in a move that has been received with shock by majority of the Hearts fans.

The credentials of the Japanese trainer has even been called into question with his certification, equivalent to a CAF License B deemed not adequate to qualify him to coach in the Premier League.

But the clubs appears unperturbed by these concerns and are forging ahead with the appointment of Kenichi Yatsuhashi.

Board member Dr. Nyahoe Tamakloe says the new coach has been tasked to win the league.

“Our aim is basically to win the league in the coming season,” he told Joy FM.

“We have made this clear to him. Anything short of that, he will have some problems with the board and management.”

Kenichi Yatsuhashi will be the substantive replacement for Herbert Addo who parted way with the club midway to their disappointing campaign last season.

Hearts of Oak have not won the Ghanaian top flight since their last success in 2009 and are desperate to return to their glory days.
