Former Hearts of Oak coach, Kenichi Yatsuhashi, could be returning to the Ghana Premier League 10 months after leaving.
Despite helping Hearts to record impressive away wins against Medeama, AshantiGold and Inter Allies in his time, the Japanese-American handler was fired by Hearts of Oak in June 2016 after a series of disagreements with the team’s management.
He decided to go on a coaching course in India for 25 days ahead of the second round of the league but he and the team agreed on the termination of his contract because Hearts estimated that his absence for 25 days would cause a problem. However, after a stint in Nigeria, Yatsuhashi may be coming back to Ghana and a tweet he put on Tuesday seems to show his intentions.
I miss Ghana Premier League, n I hope Ghana Premier League does too. If so, two shall meet soon.
