Hearts of Oak’s Burkinabe import, Soulama Abdoulaye says the newly appointed trainer for the club, Kenichi Yatsuhashi is the right person for the job, adding the coach must augment the team with some experienced players.
The appointment of the 49-year old trainer attracted mixed reactions from football pundits as some believed Kenichi doesn’t have the requisite quality to handle a club like Hearts of Oak.
But the Board and Management of the former Premier League champions stood firm in confirming the former Aspire Academy trainer as the head coach of the club.
King Keni as they refer to him will be supported on the sidelines by assistant trainer Yaw Preko and goalkeepers’ trainer Nasamu Yakubu.
Soulama Abdoulaye, one of the experience players in the Hearts of Oak set up, has however stated that Kenichi Yatsuhashi is the right man for job.
“He (Kenichi) is the right person (to lead us) because nobody saw his job but we just started working. If he is able to get us some experienced players, it will help the team too,” Abdoulaye told GHANAsoccernet.com.
Kenichi’s have so far started pre-season with Hearts of Oak and his contract is expected to run out at the end of the 2016/17 league season.
