Japanese tactician, Kenichi Yatsuhashi has swung straight into action as coach of Accra Hearts of Oak following his unveiling on a 2-year deal on Wednesday.

Yatsuhashi who was born and raised in the USA, is believed to be on wages of less than $2,000 a month but the Japanese declared his ambition to lead the former Ghana and Africa champions back into the big time during his reign.

"I met the supporters and they were in support of my appointment and I asked them to be very honest with me when I’m not living up to the billing,” he said.

"“My target is to win the league and the FA Cup because last season that was what the fans demanded, my goal is very high but my time is very short," 46 year old Yatsuhashi pledged.

Below are some photos from his first training session with the Accra giants.
