Ghanaian international Kelvin Yeboah scored twice on Sunday, September 29, 2024, to propel his Minnesota United FC side to a dominant 3-0 victory over Colorado Rapids in the American Major League Soccer (MLS).
The forward, after earning a place in the matchday squad of his team, subsequently started in the first eleven.
Just 16 minutes into the first half, the talented forward latched onto a chance and made it count by finding the back of the Colorado Rapids net to shoot his team into a deserved lead.
That goal separated the two teams at halftime before Kelvin Yeboah increased the lead with another goal for the hosts two minutes after recess, completing a brace in the process.
Now in control, Minnesota United dictated the pace of the encounter and went on to seal a massive 3-0 win, with Hassani Dotson netting in the 82nd minute to put the icing on the cake.
After his goal against Colorado Rapids, Kelvin Yeboah now has seven goals after making just six goals in the MLS for Minnesota United FC.
