AshGold defender Kadiri Mohammed says he is ever ready to prove that he has what it takes to deliver for the national team if given the opportunity.

The hard tackling defender was part of four debutantes named in Ghana’s team that will play Mauritius on Sunday.

According to Grant the defender earned the call up due to his impressive performance in Ghana’s friendly against Japan that was played three weeks ago.

But with John Boye, Jonathan Mensah and even Daniel Armartey in the squad it is thought that Kadiri will find it difficult to stake a claim.

“Well the experience to learn from these players is priceless and I am ever ready to play,” Kadiri said

“Football is a universal language and since I arrived they have the players have been very kind to me and I am very much ready to prove myself when I get the chance.”
