K.Asamoah: Mistakes must be corrected

Black Stars player Kwadwo Asamoah says the team must correct all it's mistakes if it is to stand a chance in the World Cup.

Asamoah was in good form playing at left back for the team against the USA in a 2-1 loss.

He says the team must correct it's mistakes and move on.

"This is football and we have to accept the result and move on. We did very well but there were many mistakes that we made and we should correct these mistakes because this is the World Cup.The slightest mistake will end up in punishment."

The Juventus star would not be drawn into reasons why he was not drafted in midfield.

"I am a player and I go where I am told to play. Simple as that."

Ghana's next game is against group leaders Germany in Fortaleza on June 21.
