Juventus Weigh Up Chelsea Target Baba Rahman

Chelsea target and Augsburg full-back Baba Rahman has caught the imagination of Juventus who are eying a summer deal for him.

The 20-year-old Ghanaian full-back has turned heads with his assured performances at Augsburg this season and scouts from some of the top clubs have been flocking the SGL Arena to see Rahman in action.

Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund are believed to be already monitoring his progress in Germany and Chelsea are known to be ready to make a €15m bid for the full-back.

Rahman has more than four years left on his contract but that is not deterring more and more clubs from joining the chase for the Ghanaian international and the latest European heavyweights to join the race are Juventus.

According to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, the club's scouts have been highly impressed by the 20-year-old’s performances for Augsburg and the Italian champions are ready to take a plunge for him this summer based on their scouting team’s glowing reports.

The Italian champions are looking to strengthen further after a season that might end up being them crowned European champions and young talents such as Rahman are being rigorously scouted and pursued by the club.

Rahman has clocked up 30 Bundesliga appearances for Augsburg this season and has already earned eight caps for Ghana after making his international debut in September last year.
