Joy Dadi Community Gala enters group stage

The group stages of the Joy Dadi Inter Community Football Gala begun at the weekend with Tei Nkwanta FC beating Besta FC by 3-0 in the first match at the Koforidua Methodist School Park.

The match involving Srodae and Future Stars ended in a goalless draw.

The 40 teams competing in the tournament have been grouped into eight, consisting five teams each competing for qualification into the next stage.

Winners of each group qualifies to play in the top eight of the gala tournament.

The eventual winner of the gala takes home Ghc5,000.00, with the runner up and third teams settling for Ghc3,000.00 and Ghc2,000.00 respectively.
