Talented Ghanaian defender Joseph Attamah was commanding in defence for Istanbul as they defeated John Boye's Sivasspor in the Turkish Cup on Tuesday night.
Attamah, a former Tema Youth and Ghana U20 defender, played the entire 90 minutes but John Boye was replaced after 63 minutes at the Terim Stadyumu as an own-goal from Kocak and Napoleoni propelled the league leaders to victory.
Istanbul recorded their second win of Group F in the competition while Boye and his Sivasspor side have lost both of their opening games.
Attamah is becoming influential in defence for the Superlig leaders.
He joined Istanbul from second-tier side Adana Demirspor and is gradually warming himself into regular playing spot.
