Joseph Aidoo shines for Celta Vigo in draw against Sevilla

Joseph Aidoo delivered an assured and composed performance for Celta Vigo in their 1-1 draw with Sevilla in the Spanish Laliga on Friday night.

The 23-year old who joined La Celeste in the ongoing transfer window made nine clearances, one interception and lasted the entire duration.

He has now played 180 minutes in the Sky Blue shirt having been confined to the bench in Celta Vigo’s 3-1 season-opening home loss to Real Madrid.

Franco Vázquez thought he had scored the winner for Sevilla on the 80th minute but a late equalizer by former Barcelona forward Denis Suarez ensures both sides shared the spoils at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.
