Ghanaian defender Joseph Aidoo has revealed he feels refreshed after KRC Genk's winter training camp in Benidorm in Spain.
The former Ghana U-20 was part of Genk manager Philippe Clement's 31 man team that traveled for the week camp in Spain to prepare ahead of the resumption of the second round of the Belgian Jupiler League.
?“I feel refreshed after our time in Spain, I’m renewed and want to do more for Genk this year,”? the inform defender revealed at the team's training camp.
?“It was tough but everything went on well as planned with a lot of hard training and exercises.”?
?“We had perfect opportunities for team bonding and also had team building time where we played paintball shootings.”?
?Genk played two friendly matches winning against German side Fortuna Sittard 1-0 and drawing 2-2 with Schalke 04.?
?Aidoo stellar defensive displays and a goal in 21 matches helped Genk to end the first half of the season as winter champions with 48 points from 21 matches.?
