Former two-time world champion, Joseph Agbeko, has expressed his delight over the return of Kwesi Appiah as Black Stars coach.

Appiah who became the first black coach to qualify Ghana to the World Cup (Brazil 2014 World Cup), he was axed after the country’s shambolic display.

And after three-years, Appiah has been appointed as Black Stars coach following the departure of Avram Grant in January.

“I’m happy that Kwesi Appiah has been named as Black Stars coach. I think as a country we have to believe in our own, so i’m happy that he has return. I believe he will do well,” Agbeko said on Kwese Free Sports’ Head Start.

Appiah was unveiled last Tuesday and he has been tasked to win the AFCON 2019 and also do his possible best to qualify the four-time African champions to Russia 2018 World Cup.
