Jonathan expresses delight at Asamoah's return

Ghanaian defender Jonathan Mensah has expressed his delight in seeing international team mates Kwadwo Asamoah and Jerry Akaminko back to football action.

Kwadwo Asamoah of Juventus and Jerry Akaminko of Eskisehirspor returned to full fitness after long injury layoffs and the Evian Thonon Gaillard defender took to his twitter handle to thank God for their return.

The Black Stars defender wrote:

“Great to see my brothers back on the pitch again @Asabob20 & @jville15 Glory be to God #BeliefOverHope”.

The senior national team of Ghana are preparing for an international friendly game against Canada in Washington.

The Black Stars have been hit with injury woes ahead of the game and niether Kwadwo Asamoah, Jonathan Mensah nor Jerry Akaminko may take part in the friendly on Tuesday.
