Jonathan Mensah backs Satellites to win against Argentina

Jonathan Mensah has thrown his support behind the Ghana U20 team ahead of their crucial World Cup game against Argentina on Tuesday.

Mensah who enjoyed immense success during his time with the Black Satellites in the historic 2009 crop, believes Clifford Aboagye who missed the opening draw with Austria will make a big difference in the game against the tournament favorites.

Ghana needs a win over the South American giants to give them a huge advantage in the race to qualify to the Round of 16.

The Black Satellites failed to overly impress in their opening group game against Austria which ended in a 1-1 draw.

Jonathan Mensah while willing the side to go on to secure what will be a famous win over Argentina on Tuesday, believes the presence of Clifford Aboagye will tilt the scales in favour of the Black Satellites.

“Wishing the Black Satellites the best of luck in tomorrow’s game,” Mensah Tweeted.

“[Clifford] Aboagye can make a massive difference.”
