Joetex nets hat trick abroad

Black Stars striker Joetex Asamoah Frimpong grabbed a hat-trick in the Swiss League as Lucerne thrashed Aarau 4-0 at home on Saturday night.

The former Enyimba player opened the floodgates after 38 minutes to give Lucerne the lead before the break.

The 27-year-old added the second in the 82nd minute and sealed their domolishing exercise with the fourth goal on the 90th.

Joetex has been able to shrug off a injury but his efforts kept Lucerne still in the relegation zone.

Lucerne could slip further as they have a difficult assignment at leaders FC Zurich next week.
