Joe Dodoo hails competitive Scottish League

Young Ghanaian forward Joe Dodoo has lauded the level and intensity of the Scottish League and is looking forward to having a great season.

The Ghana international joined Rangers this summer from English Champions Leicester City.

“The standard of football in Scotland is a good standard,” Dodoo told Rangers TV.

“The Premier League is different obviously, but at the end of the day we have a really strong team.

“We have a strong squad and we out there know that we are going to be better than anyone. We are going to play [our] games and win.”

On the reasons why he joined the ‘Gers’, he said;

“I want to be part of a winning team.

“I wanted to come somewhere where you are expected to win games and you are expected to win trophies and that is the kind of team I strive to play for.

“Here, you have to be successful, we have to win games. That is probably the main reason why I came to this club."
