Jeffrey Schlupp had a day off, missed training

Jeffrey Schlupp missed training for English Premier League club Leicester City on Thursday because he was given a day off to recover, his manager Claudio Ranieri confirmed.

The Ghanaian defender and team-mate Riyad Mahrez were given the day off to recover after arriving on Thursday morning from their international duty.

Jeffrey Schlupp was with the senior national team of Ghana, the Black Stars and player in the international friendly against Canada in Washington, United States of America.

Claudio Ranieri confirmed the news at his press conference ahead of Leicester City’s English Premier League game against Southampton on Saturday.

Jeffrey Schlupp has been on a good consistent run of form and missing the game against Southampton on Saturday could be a blow to Ranieri’s side.
