Jarvis Peprah, former Asante Kotoko Chief Executive Officer (CEO) has urged his former side to pamper players to get the best out of them.

The current management of Asante Kotoko are locked in a stand-off with star attacker Songne Yacouba with the player only reporting to camp this week.

Reports in the local media landscape suggest the player wants to see out his contract and has been reluctant to play for the club since their group stage exit in last season’s CAF Confederations Cup.

But the experienced administrator believes a soft approach will mitigate incidents of player revolt.

“The players must be pampered and treated nicely because they are the actors and I know they can help us achieve our targets”, he told Ashh FM in Kumasi.

“The behaviour of the supporters will give the players courage on the field and I know things will go well for the team” he ended.
