Japanese coach closes in on Hearts move

Japanese American coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi has arrived in the country to finalize his proposed move to Hearts of Oak GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.

Kenichi Yatsuhashi, 46, landed in the country on Saturday evening and has been engaged in negotiations to finalize the highly publicized deal.

Hearts were close to agreeing a deal with Medeama’s Swedish boss Tom Strand but failed to meet the buyout clause stated by Medeama and that scrapped the move.

But its looks like the Phobians will finally get their second choice with Kenichi Yatsuhashi, who is a former coach for ASA College in the United States of America, in the country to complete the move.

The Phobians finished the just-ended First Capital Plus Premier League on 13th position with 40 points and have been without a substantive coach since parting company with Herbert Addo in the second half of the season.
