Japanese Ambassador Judo Championship fixed for November 12

Accra, Nov. 11, GNA - The 12th edition of the Japanese Ambassador Judo Championship takes place from November 12-13 at the D.J. Hathiramani Sports Hall at the Ohene Djan Stadium.

The two-day event is being organised by the Ghana Judo Association in collaboration with the Japan Embassy, and is aimed at promoting the sport in the country.

Patrick Anyidoho Cofie, Secretary General of Ghana Judo Association told GNA Sports that the event is being sponsored the by Japan Embassy in Ghana to enhance ties between the two countries and in honour of the Japan Ambassador. He said about 250 Judokas across the country have confirmed their participation. 11 Nov. 10
