Former English international, Jamie Carragher has berated winger Mohammed Salah for his outbursts after Liverpool's 3-3 draw against Leeds United in the Premier League.
The Egyptian who was an unused substitute in the game at Elland Road poured out his frustrations about his current situation in the club after being benched for three consecutive games.
“I am not bigger than anyone, but I have worked hard for my position. I do not understand why I am being put in this situation. It feels like I am being thrown under the bus, like I am the problem. I don’t believe that.”
Reacting to the interview, Jamie Carragher told Mohammed Salah to be grateful to the club because he was known as the guy who failed at Chelsea before he signed for Liverpool in 2017.
"Before he came to Liverpool, Mo Salah was known as the guy who FAILED at Chelsea. So he and his agent shouldn't forget what the club has also done for him," he said on Sky Sports.
He also described Mohammed Salah as a selfish player who only cares about himself and his interest.
“It was a disgrace what Salah did... when he stops in mixed zone, it’s choreographed with agent to cause maximum damage and strength on his position. He chose this weekend… he’s chose this time to go for the manager and get him sacked”.
