It’s too early to tag Wa All Stars as title contenders - Nyantakyi

President of the Ghana Football Association Kwesi Nyantakyi says Wa All Stars are only enjoying their start to the Ghana Premier League and talks of winning the title are far-fetched.

All Stars lead the Ghana Premier League after seven round of games with 17 points, three more than second place Hearts of Oak.

Their impressive display has led to experts branding them as huge title favourites for the Ghana Premier League title but President Kwesi Nyantakyi says it’s still early days yet.

“Well I am happy with the kind of start we have had to the season,” Nyantakyi told Accra-based Happy FM

“But we all have to put in mind that it’s just seven games played in the entire season.”

“I don’t think the way the season is going you can pick out a contender at the moment.”
