WAFA SC coach Klavs Rasmussen was full of praise for his team’s tactical adherence in Sunday’s 5-0 thrashing of Hearts of Oak in the Ghana Premier League.

According to the Danish trainer, his players adhered to tactics and could have doubled the scoreline.

“The preparation was good, the players understood the team tactics and they did very well.

“I’m not surprised. Yes, the amount of goals looks surprising but if you watched the game, it could have been 10,” Rasmussen said.

He added: “It was not an easy game; it was a very high level of performance from the boys.

“We played on a good pitch. There is no secret but we had a slight advantage because we know the pitch so well.

WAFA led the first half 2-0 courtesy of goals from Majeed Ashimeru and Abdul Wahab Ibrahim before Daniel Lomotey and Ibrahim Abukari took turns to complete the rout. Lomotey grabbed a second-half brace.
