Former Hearts of Oak goalkeeper, Philemon McCarthy, says he is delighted to be back in Ghana and is looking forward to the start of the 2017/2018 Ghana Premier League season.

McCarthy is back to Dreams FC after a short stint in Israel.

After 14 games on his debut season for Dreams FC, he earned a lifetime dream that had eluded him in his entire career and McCarthy is excited to be back in the motherland after his short stint in Israel.

In an exclusive chat with Dreamsfc.com.gh, Dreams FC goalkeeper Philemon McCarthy could not hide his joy for breaking the barrier in his sporting life. He describes it as a dream come true.

“Ghana is my homeland and it always feels great to be back home.

“There is no single day I did not monitor Dreams FC back in Israel.

“Looking at Dreams they belong here ( Premier league) and I really celebrated when I heard the news that they had regained promotion into the top division.

“And like I said they really made my dreams come through so I am happy for the club.

“I would do what I can and contribute my best so the team achieves its target.

“At Dreams everyone get the opportunity and this season would be a good one. Blending youth and experience is always the best.

“I am really glad for this family. I have never look back since the day I joined and I don't think I have to disappoint myself.
