Isaac Cofie excited to have adapted quickly at Sporting Gijon

Ghanaian promising midfielder, Isaac Cofie has expressed his excitement indicating how he has well adapted at Spanish Segunda Division side Sporting Gijon.

Cofie excelled on his debut for the side in their 1-1 stalemate against Alcorcon in the opening day of the Spanish second-tier division.

And the midfielder, who joined from Italian side Genoa, says he has settled in quickly at the club.

"I'm very happy. The team has helped me adapt to the game system. I am very happy with the adaptation," he said

"I knew that the fans were very passionate. I thank you on behalf of the team for supporting us. I hope the fans go to Extremadura.

"El Molinón is fantastic, the atmosphere is fantastic. I feel good physically as well."

He has been tipped to keep his place in the side when they welcome UD Extremadura to El Molinon on Sunday.
