Ghana defender Samuel Inkoom says he is delighted with the kind of start he has had in the Portuguese league and is looking forward to even improving after the international break.
The 26-year-old year has played in all three games for Boavista in the Portuguese league following his arrival in the summer.
Inkoom who has had stints with Basel and Dnipro in the past joined Boavista in a bid to revive his career after a difficult time in the MLS with D.C United.
He says he couldn’t have asked for more with the kind of start he has had with Boavista.
“I am very delighted with the kind of start I have had here because if you look at the index I am one of the players who have enjoyed maximum game time,” Inkoom told Accra based Citi FM
“I am looking forward to even more success after the international break because it has not been that easy.”
“As a footballer the most important thing is to be playing week in week out and that is what I am doing.”
The Ghana international will now be hoping his side recover from their 4-0 defeat to Braga when they face Pacos Ferreira this weekend.
