Ghanaian kid Asumah Abubakar Ankrah marked his debut for Portugal as they drew 1-1 with Austria at the UEFA European Under-19 Championship.

The 19-year-old was introduced in the 71st minute to replace Diogo Gonçalves.

He played the final 19 minutes and had to pick up a yellow card in the 88th minute.

Ankrah was born in Ghana and played for Kumasi Corners Babies before moving to Portugal where he was raised by an adopted family.
