Inaki Williams pens new deal at Athletico Madrid

Spain-born Ghanaian International, Inaki Williams has signed a new seven-and-a-half-year contract at Spanish Liga side, Athletico Madrid.

He was handed the contract extension following his eye catching performances for the Madrid-based club in the Spanish Primera league.

His new deal will keep him at the club until June 2025 and new release clause is now worth €80 million.

Speaking to the club’s official website Wednesday, Inaki said, “I am very happy to be here. I’d that those coming behind me would have as example. I’m very ambitious. I want to improve and make history in the Athletic and football. There is no better site that do it here.”
