Ghanaian duo, Inaki Williams and Brandon Thomas-Asante have withdrawn from the Black Stars squad for the upcoming international friendlies due to injuries.
According to the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Inaki played the full match during Athletic Bilbao’s victory over Real Betis in La Liga. However, post-match scans revealed that the winger had sustained a knock, making it unsafe for him to join the national team.
Meanwhile, Thomas-Asante featured for Coventry City in their 3-0 win over Swansea City but was substituted in the 62nd minute and replaced by Josh Eccles.
