Ibrahim Tanko uncertain about KP Boateng’s Black Stars return

Black Stars deputy coach Ibrahim Tanko is uncertain over the return of KP Boateng to the national team.

Kevin Prince Boateng is being punished by the head coach for gross misconduct which led to his sacking during the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

But his move to Barcelona has triggered a fresh debate in the country as to whether he should be invited back to the team or not.

Black Stars Assistant coach Ibrahim Tanko is tight lipped as to whether Kevin Prince Boateng should be recalled or not.

“The issue of Kevin Prince Beateng is a complicated. I was in Cameron when the issue happened. I heard a lot about what happened.

“I heard they were asked to apologize and Sulley Muntari has since apologized but Kevin Prince Boteng has refused to render the apology,” he told Zuria FM Sports

“If it is about quality, then I will admit we will need Kevin in the team. But this issue is beyond us.

“The management and the top hierarchy of the team have the final say. So we will keep monitoring him and see how things will unfold,” he added.
