IPMC Hockey League –Exchequers Trashed Police

The second round of the Greater Accra IPMC Hockey League continued with some interesting encounters last Saturday at the National Hockey Pitch. In the Men A-League Exchequers gave the Police team a sound beaten in their match. Police who had improved their form in recent matches came with the hope of causing an upset, with early incursions into the half of Exchequers. Exchequers led by tormentor-in chief Alfred Armah, accepted the challenge and demolished Police by six goals to nil. League Leaders CEPS widen the gap at the top when they beat second place Trustees by two goals to nil.

In the Senior League, it was sweet revenge for Multistix as they walloped Citizens by three goals to nil, whiles Veterans failed to turn up in their match against NDK Financiers. In the women division Reformers of Ghana Prisons were held to a goalless draw by Extinguishers of Ghana Fire Service in their match last Friday.
