Former Ghana U23 trainer, Malik Jabir says he is not thinking about applying for the Ghana Football Association Technical Director job.

The Ghana FA wants a replacement for Francis Oti Akenten, whose contract will not be renewed when it expires this month.

However, the Ghana FA have opened application for interested coaches to apply for the top-notch job.

But Malik Jabir in an interview with Kumasi based Angel FM says he will not apply for the said position.

“I won’t apply for it because they already know who they want to give it to, so why should I waste my time? He quizzed.

“I’m not bothered about it at all. Even they made a pinpoint on somebody when appointing the General Secretary for the GFA. Many people applied for it but they gave it to the one” he added.

Former Kotoko trainer, Bashir Hayford is the only coach to have applied for the job since the Ghana FA opened application.
