I will collapse every betting company if given the chance – Albert Commey

Aduana Stars Chief Executive Officer, Albert Commey debunks allegations that his side played a match of convenience against Asec Mimosas.

In response to the view from a section of Ghanaians that Aduana Stars sold their CAF Confederation Cup game against Asec Mimosas, Chief Executive Officer of the club has revealed that he will collapse every betting company if given the chance.

Commey told the press after their 2:0 defeat to Asec Mimosa weekend.

Goals from Gbagnon Badie and Ta Bi Willy Braciano made his outfit tasted their first ever defeat at home in the continental stage that his religion doesn’t permit betting and for that reason, he doesn’t bet.

“I have heard people saying we sold the match and others, it is not true, I don’t bet personally based on my religion and will collapse every betting company when given the chance, people are sharing their opinions and I don’t know those who did that, and if you bet that the team will lose, then you are collapsing the team, so I will plead to the supporters to exercise patience” he said.
