Techiman Eleven Wonders defender Kwadwo Amoako Augustine who according to reports have signed for Ashgold says he snubbed Asante Kotoko and Dreams Football Club to sign for the regional rivals of Asante Kotoko-Ashgold.

Kumasi based Ashh FM earlier announced that, Kwadwo Amoako Augustine has completed a move from Techiman Eleven Wonder to sign a four-year deal with Obuasi based Ashanti Gold football club.

Granting an interview with Kumasi based Sika FM, Kwado Amoako said it was by following his heart and an advice from his pastor that is why he had to snub both Kotoko and Dreams Football Club for Ashgold.

” I snubbed Asante Kotoko and Dreams FC by following my heart and my pastor’s advice to join Ashanti Gold” he said.

Meanwhile Kwadwo Amoako Augustine is best remembered for his reckless comment he made at post-match interview, after his club was defeated by miners in the last group game of the NC Special Competition tier one at Nkoranza where he publicly claimed that, Eleven Wonders helped Ashgold to qualify for the semi-finals hence their abysmal showdown during the duel where they lost by 3-0.
