I rejected offers to stay at Aduana because of good treatment - Stephen Adams

Former Aduana Stars and Ghana goalkeeper Stephen Adams has disclosed that he rejected offers abroad to stay with the Premier League outfit because of the way he was treated.

The 30-year old reveals he was comfortable with the 'Ogya Boys' and was never in a haste to leave the shores of Ghana to continue his career abroad.

"I had a lot of offers during days but couldn't leave because of the treatment," he told Sikka Sports.

Adams was one of the finest goalkeepers in Ghana during his time with Aduana and was a member of the Black Stars team that represented Ghana at the World Cup in 2014.

Currently unattached the experienced shot-stopper is believed to be on his way to Great Olympics ahead of the second round of the Ghana Premier League.

Adams played a key role when Aduana won their first Ghana Premier League title in their maiden season in 2009.
