Vice President of the Ghana Football Association, George Afriyie, has promised to settle the squabble between the Association and the Sports Ministry ahead of the World Cup qualifier against Uganda.

Several media outlets across the country have hinted the Ministry’s fall out with the Ghana Football Association.

The two parties have been at logger heads since the appointment of Edwin Nii Lante Vanderpuye to the Sports Minister.

George Afriyie who doubles as Chairman of Liberty Professionals, has hinted he will use his relationship with the Sports Minister to ensure tranquility between the Federation and the Sports Ministry.

“I believe and find myself in a situation where I don’t know what to say but let’s hope I can use my relationship between Nii Lante Vanderpuye to make things better and solve the rift between the Ghana Football Association and the Sports Ministry, “George Afriyie told Takoradi-based Spice FM.
