The WAFA playmaker is hoping to make his second appearance for Avram Grant’s side in two months

WAFA winger Samuel Tetteh says he’s looking to make the most of his latest call-up to the Black Stars for the 2018 Fifa World Cup qualifiers.

The 19-year-old was named in a 23-man squad by Avram Grant on Thursday for the double-header with Comoros on November 13 and 17.

“I feel humbled for this call-up, and it’s also a learning process for me,” Tetteh told Goal .

“It’s every player’s dream to play for the Black Stars and this will help me to be a professional.

“This means a lot to me as a footballer and I’m ever ready to grab any opportunity that comes. Even if it’s the last minute of the game, I will play my best.”

The Black Stars would seek to make it to the third and final round of the qualifiers when they host Comoros in the second leg at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi, four days after the away encounter in Moroni.

“Ghanaians should expect a good performance from Samuel Tetteh and the rest of the team,” Tetteh added.

The attacker, who made his senior debut as a late substitute in the Black Stars’ 3-2 friendly win over Congo in September, was a member of Ghana’s side that participated at the 2015 Fifa Under-20 World Cup in New Zealand as well as the 2015 All Africa Games in Congo.
