I’m not resigning from Hearts Board – Andani

Hearts of Oak Board member and Chief Executive Officer of Stanbic Bank, Alhassan Andani has rubbished reports that he is resigning from the Board, insisting the reports are fabrications.

Reports in the media had suggested that the highly respected Board member has written his resignation letter and is only left to tender it.

The reports further added that the banking expert had failed to attend board meetings and had hinted to other members that he will be resigning from the Hearts of Oak Board.

But in a sharp contrast, the financial heavyweight has disclosed in an exclusive interview with GHANAsoccernet.com that the reports are false, inaccurate and a figment of the writer’s imagination.

“My brother, I have no knowledge of the story. I did not even know about the existence of that medium in which the story was published until my attention was drawn to the story last night,” Alhassan said.

He further added that the media should be very circumspect in their reportage and desist from false information as such acts have the tendency of discouraging prospective investors from investing in the football industry.
