I’m going to Kumasi to take all three points – Sergio

Sergio Traguil Sergio Traguil

Coach of Accra Hearts of Oak, Sergio Traguil has assured fans of the club of his desire to claim all three points against Kumasi Asante Kotoko when the two heavyweights meet in their Match-Day 21 encounter of the Ghana Premier League (GPL) at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday.

Having gained 11 points from a maximum of 15 in this second round, the Phobians look poised for this ‘Super Clash’ between Ghana’s two biggest clubs as they hold a five-point gap over their rivals after Kotoko were thrashed 4-1 by relegation-threatened Ebusua Dwarfs in their midweek clash at Cape Coast.

Hearts posted a 1-0 victory over Berekum Chelsea in Accra to maintain their leadership of the GPL log heading into this weekend’s round of games.

In a post-match interview after that encounter, Sergio said; “I knew of Kotoko before I came to this country, of course, news of their defeat brings me joy as they are contending for the title, and come Sunday I am going into the game to take all three points”.

The recent happenings at the top of the GPL table could give a glimpse of who are real title contenders going into the next round of games and as scheduled all matches will take place on Saturday, 23 July except the Kotoko-Hearts clash which will be played on Sunday, 24 July in Kumasi.
