Former WBO Super Bantamweight champion, Isaac Dogbe has clashed with his father Paul Dogbe for saying that they consulted a juju man before the boxer’s last defeat to Emmanuel Navarrete.

Paul Dogbe in one of his interviews with Joy FM recently revealed that they had a prophecy from a juju man that Isaac will knock out Navarrete in the third round.

Though the father has come out to clarify that he was taken out of context, the boxer who seemed hurt by the recent utterances of his father and trainer has come out to tell his own story.

In a video that was addressed to TV3, Isaac Dogbe stated that he knows nothing of what the father said and has never had an encounter with a juju man in his entire boxing career.

"I want to make this very clear. I have no association with any fetish priest and I have never consulted any of them to help me win a fight. I have always credited my victories to God and God alone, so it doesn't make sense for me to consult a fetish priest to help me win a fight."

"God has been with me from the very beginning through all my victories and defeats because I believe and pray to God for all my victories."

"These rumors that are going around, as ridiculous as they are they have caused a lot of embarrassment to me, my friends, and all those that I'm associated with. I have no desire to worship a deity" said Isaac Dogbe.
