Former Ashantigold head coach, Bashir Hayford says he has lost the appetite to stage a comeback into football.

The former Kotoko and Medeama SC trainer in March 2017 parted ways with the Miners after failing to get the needed results for the club in the Ghana premier league.

The management of the club replaced the veteran coach with Dreams FC head coach C. K. Akunnor.

At the end of the first round of the GPL, the Miners were able to win 3, draw 3 and lost 9 with 12 points occupying the 15th position on the league.

Hayford, who has handled several national teams in the country insists the zeal to return to the touchline is completely gone.

”Personally I have lost appetite for football.” He told the media.

”We you sacrifice your time energy and resources to work for your country and the recognition is not there then you become dejected obvious.
