I have been defeated but I'm still Africa Mayweather – Bukom Banku

Former WBO Africa Cruiserweight champion, Braimah Kamoko affectionately called Bukom Banku has admitted that former Ghana Boxing team captain, Bastie Samie is a good fighter.

He revealed this during an interaction with 3FM on Tuesday, 21st, October, 2017.

According to him,” Bastie is a good boxer..He has beaten the champion, the number one in Ghana [Bukom Banku], I respect him.”

When asked if he is still the African Mayweather, he responded,’ ‘Yes I am still the African Mayweather.”

Bukom Banku lost the cruiserweight non-title bout to Samir Bastie in the round seven in a reschedule make or break fight at the Bukom Boxing Arena in Accra on Saturday, 21st, October, 2017.
