Goalkeeper Sammy Adjei insists he has not retired from active football and says he is open to a return to Hearts of Oak.

The experienced goalkeeper has been inactive for close to two years, fueling believes that he has retired from the game.

Adjei has been without a club since leaving the Phobians in 2013 but says he is ever ready to don the jersey of the club once more again of approached.

“I have opened my doors to Accra Hearts and if only they approach me, I will offer my services to them. I have done it before and when given the chance I will do it again,” he told Happy FM.

Adjei enjoyed tremendous success during his first stint at Hearts between 1997 to 2004 where he helped the club clinch the 2000 CAF Champions League and Super Cup in the famous 64 Battalion squad.
