Local Black Stars prolific striker Joel Fameyeh has revealed that he is not bothered by the growing interest from clubs chasing for his signature.

The Asokwa Deportivo striker scored 28 goals in 30 matches in the just ended GN Bank Division One League and has become the point of attraction for many Premier League clubs.

Reports emerged a few weeks back that, Ghana League champions AshantiGold SC as well as dethroned champions Kumasi Asante Kotoko and giants Accra Hearts of Oak have all expressed interest in securing the signature of the striker.

But Joel Fameyeh has revealed that he is not bothered about the tussle among the clubs as his major assignment is to get the Local Black Stars to qualify for the CHAN Tournament in Rwanda.

“I don’t know what is going on concerning my future,” he said.

“I am focused on football and with the national team and have left everything to my manager.”

“Mine is to play football and theirs is to manage my career.”

Fameyeh became an instant hit on his international debut when he bagged a brace for the home-based Black Stars team in their 2-1 win over Ivory Coast in their 2016 CHAN qualifier.
