I am close to joining a club soon - Bekoe

Ex-Kotoko striker Eric Bekoe claims hes held advanced talks with several local clubs as he desperately searches for a new destination.

Bekoe, 28, has been without a club for a year after enduring frustrating injury spells.

The former Berekum Chelsea and Heart of Lions hitman is keen to return to the pitch to revive a career which has taken a nosedive and he has revealed hes close to joining a local club.

I have secretly spoken to a lot of clubs in Ghana and Im hoping to arrive at a fruitful conclusion before the transfer window shuts down but I will not rush in choosing any of such clubs Bekoe is quoted by sportsworldghana.

The Ghana Premier League has been tentatively fixed for December 20.
