Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Ibrahim Danlad says returning to the club feels like coming back home, revealing that he always dreamed of rejoining the Porcupine Warriors.

The 23-year-old goalkeeper, who has returned to Kotoko after spending time away from the club, said he has grown significantly both as a player and as a person.

“I came here as a very young boy, and even when I was leaving, I was still young. I had that kind of dream that definitely I was going to be back and continue the good work for this club,” he said.

Danlad believes his experiences outside Ghana have helped him mature and develop, warning fans to expect a different version of the goalkeeper.

“Maturity. I went outside the country, and the kind of experiences that I got over there, definitely there’s going to be a lot of changes personally and also in terms of playing,” he added.

The goalkeeper added that he is ready to fight for success and maintain high standards as he begins another chapter with the Kumasi-based giants.

“Since I’m here, I’m ready for every challenge.”
