The CAF 1st vice has confirmed that he will not seek for re-election when his term of office ends in 2019.

According to the former Asante Kotoko Chief Executive Officer, Nyantakyi's decision not to seek for another term in office means he wants to leave the stage when the applauds are high but however charged him to recommend a competent person to succeed him.

“The best legacy Kwasi Nyantakyi can leave behind is to have a successor who is capable of taking Ghana football to another level and not one who will join the family group."
